Alexandria, VA — Convergence Media is proud to be in the fight to help stop “Build Back Broke.” The dangerous spending package the Biden administration is pushing on America has been stalled because the American people are learning more and more about it. The American Action Network (AAN) has led the way on this education, using effective issue advocacy to tell the stories of real Americans who would be impacted by this reckless legislation. Clearly their superb work is having an impact – and Convergence has been honored to be on their team. Working with AAN’s leadership we created 38 TV ads as part of their multi-million-dollar campaign to pressure Members of Congress to oppose the BBB socialist wish list.

In August, AAN began running ads targeting nine swing vote members, including Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) and Rep. Stephanie Murphy (FL-0-7), urging them to reject the progressive spending plan.

The ad targeting Rep. Murphy featured a testimony from a retired veteran – Ty Patten – a constituent in her district who would be adversely affected by the bill. After the ads ran in Murphy’s district, new polling from AAN showed less than 40% of the voters in her swing district approved of BBB – and a majority disapproved.
