Convergence Media Announces New Staff Hires

(Washington) - Convergence Media is proud to announce five new employees joining the Convergence team. Convergence Media partners Rob Simms and Mike Shields released the following statement:

Dan Allen, Vice President of Media Strategy- “I’m very excited to be working for Mike and Rob and with the talented team they have assembled. Convergence already brings together the best strategic minds and a tremendous wealth of experience to meet the needs of an ever changing political and corporate landscape, happy to be one of the team,” said Dan Allen.

Dan Allen is a nationally recognized communications strategist, having served in senior leadership positions in Washington, D.C., working with some of the nation’s top leaders in both the public and private sectors for nearly two decades. Dan brings his no-nonsense style and wealth of strategic communication experience to understanding and responding to the fast-changing factors that shape contemporary message campaigns. Prior to Convergence Media, Dan served as a principal at Scott Howell & Co. (SHC), Director of Communications for the Majority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives and on the Senior Staff at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). 

Josh Daniels, Vice President for Political Affairs- “I was excited to join Convergence Media earlier this year, and join a team that so quickly built a reputation for high quality work that delivers wins. I look forward to continuing my work with the team in this election cycle and beyond,” said Josh Daniels. 

Josh Daniels brings over a decade of political experience to Convergence Media. Most recently serving as US Senator Jeff Flake’s campaign manager, Josh has worked in over a dozen states across the country for congressional and statewide campaigns, state parties, the RNC, and the NRSC. In 2016, he served as Deputy Political Director of the NRSC, working with campaigns across the country and overseeing millions of dollars in spending as part of the successful effort to hold the Republican Majority in the US Senate. A Maryland native and alumnus of the University of Chicago, when not on the road, Josh can frequently be found at Nationals Park.

Ashley Craig, Digital Strategist- Ashley Craig joins Convergence Media with nearly 7 years of political media experience. Ashley got her start at the National Republican Congressional Committee where she managed numerous websites and worked with Members of Congress to produce video content and TV ads. Since receiving her Masters in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University, Ashley has worked with numerous political organizations, such as PJTV and NumbersUSA, to develop and execute online marketing strategies, create content, and manage websites.

Hunter Mullis, Operations Manager- Hunter worked at American Action Network in the 2016 election cycle helping to secure Republican victories in the House of Representatives. Prior to joining Convergence Media, Hunter served as a Legislative Assistant to North Carolina statehouse Representative Jason Saine. Hunter is a proud alum of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Miracle Parish, Digital Coordinator- Miracle joins Convergence after getting her start in politics by working on grassroots campaigns, becoming a published author at multiple media networks, and being an involved member of her community. Miracle has worked for former Speaker Newt Gingrich and Senator John Boozman where she helped produce digital content and content strategies. Miracle now lives in Alexandria, Virginia where she is completing her Master’s in Communications through Syracuse University’s Newhouse program.
